"John DePatie's guitar work is exquisite. His perfect solos and background work show his ability to perfectly capture an emotion and run with it" - JazzReview

Guitarist John DePatie has been in the music business for nearly 30 years and in this time he's toured with famous artists like Nancy Sinatra and Leif Garrett, as well as working with legendary pianist Don Randi of Wrecking Crew fame since 2009. In 1999 he joined San Diego jam band Cathouse Thursday, with whom he's recorded 5 albums. Other releases include his own EP, Psychedelic Cowboy; his collaboration of duets with Don Randi, Acoustimania; and their recently released (Oct. 2017) Good Jazzy Vibrations, a tribute to Beach Boys' Brian Wilson. He plays on Nancy Sinatra's cover of the U2 hit Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad alongside Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, and co-wrote Billboard hit Not Into You with Kim Cameron.

He’s currently working on his first full-length solo CD to be released on Plus+Tone Records in 2019, a record which will appeal to fans of Jeff Beck, John Scofield, Joe Satriani and Larry Carlton.
